Therapy
Psychotherapy
People come to therapy for various reasons. Sometimes it's about dealing with a single, overwhelming event, while at other times, it's related to complex and long-standing issues. Whatever brings you here, I offer a safe and welcoming space where you can explore and find new meaning in the challenges you're facing.
I specialise in integrative and attachment-based counselling and psychotherapy. This approach helps us understand how our attachment patterns shape our relationships with ourselves and others. Many of us develop coping mechanisms that helped us adapt to our formative environments. These adaptations can manifest in various mental health issues, affecting our overall well-being.
My approach is grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is a powerful tool for change. It can offer the opportunity to reframe the story we carry about ourselves, opening the door to new perspectives. This process can help you reclaim your present and future, while fostering growth and healing.
I support people navigating a variety of life issues including:
Anxiety
Stress
Depression
Addiction
Grief & Loss
Life Transitions
Gender & Identity
Relationships & Intimacy
Self-esteem
Trauma & PTSD
Trauma work
Trauma, derived from the Greek word for wound, is the internal aftermath of a single, difficult event or an ongoing event that takes place over a long period of time. These residual thoughts and feelings continue to trouble us, well beyond the event itself and can often strip us of our power; activating feelings of overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, or moments of numbness.
I specialise in assisting individuals who have lived through various forms of trauma, whether stemming from childhood experiences such as neglect or abuse, or arising from later-in-life events like sudden loss, physical injury, or catastrophic event.
Trauma isn't always individual; it can be inter-generational or collective, manifesting as the result of persecution against specific groups of people.
The foundation of trauma work is compassion. Since the aftermath of trauma often resides in the body, my approach is to guide you in understanding your nervous system responses, helping you to feel more in control and safe in your body.
Rediscovering a sense of inner safety can be the catalyst to feeling more connected to the world and the people around us.
Group work
Men’s Circle - Group therapy for men living in Paris.
The Paris Men's Circle is an ongoing, open, and supportive therapy group. Whether you're facing life changes, relationship challenges, or exploring your identity as a man, or human, you are welcome here.
Men who attend group therapy often find it enables them to speak more freely once they hear others describing similar experiences and struggles. The collective experience can offer a sense of belonging and help men feel capable in confronting life’s hurdles.
What to Expect:
An open and judgment-free space to express what is troubling you
Therapeutic tools to reframe and release outdated aspects of your identity
Opportunities to build connections with like-minded individuals
